Welding Courses

Our comprehensive training courses includes certification in welding and brazing to British, European or American standards including BS EN 15614,(EN287) BS EN 15609 (EN288) BS 4872, ASME 1X etc

Materials Engineering Group have been awarded centre approval status by Summit Skills to administer weld tests in accordance with the HVCA TR5 code of practice.

We can prepare and complete third party accredited welding procedures endorsed through Zurich Insurance PLC. Certification in the following welding processes:

Manual Metal arc welding (MMA) - plate, pipe, ferrous and non ferrous materials

Metal Inert Gas shield (MIG) - Full range of Aluminium

Metal Active Gas Shield (MAGS) - plate, pipe, castings

Tungsten Inert Gas shield (TIG) - plate, pipe ferrous and non ferrous

Gas Welding - plate, pipe - BS EN 13133 - Brazing

All trainees will receive an attendance certificate at the end of each training course to acknowledge their attendance and the subject matter of their training. Please note that all MEG training course are on demand and can commence when required by the customer. We do not have a list of welding courses with start dates.
